The build
The build costs $0. There is no setup fee, no build fee, and no design fee. Submitting an application is a request to be considered for a build; Refit reviews applications individually and accepts a limited number at a time.
The subscription
The subscription is $89 per month, billed yearly ($1,068). It covers building your website and then running it: hosting, security, maintenance, and a batch of content edits every month. Paying the subscription is what starts the build. The subscription renews yearly, and you can cancel the renewal with one email.
Approval and launch
You get unlimited change requests for the first 7 days after the first draft. Nothing goes live until you approve the design and every word — approval gates the launch of your site.
What you keep
Your domain and your content are yours from day one. Cancel after the first year and the website itself goes with you: you receive the full site files and can host them anywhere you like.
Your website
By submitting a website, you confirm that you own or represent the business, or otherwise have a legitimate reason to apply.
Availability
Refit takes on a limited number of builds at a time and may decline or discontinue an application when the submitted website is inaccessible, unsafe, unrelated to a legitimate business, or submitted abusively.
